Weddings are meant to be the union between two loving hearts merging as one. It’s a time to commemorate the bondage both couples have created and the future their yearning to scaffold upon their sturdy foundation. Nowadays, most people have thousands of songs in their iOS, Androids or other streaming devices. However, when selecting the music for their remarkable moment, some allow the hiring DJ to select the tracklist.
Although some DJs are great at constructing tracklists to entertain wedding guests, we believe the groom and bride should have major control over which songs receive the final “Yay” or “Nay.” After all, who’s best to compose the soundtrack of your marriage than the two joining as one in front of their dearly beloved.
When selecting songs to add to your special day’s soundtrack, it’s always a good idea to be mindful of your attendees. Delete the hardcore, vulgar, rowdy songs from the list. Also, avoid melodies filled with Nyquil drumming patterns and tune carrying. Select songs that are tasteful, inoffensive, appropriate and meaningful. Sprinkle songs that capture the essence of your first date, remind you of your first kiss or takes your back down memory lane. And by all means, don’t be too timid to request a replay of your most heartfelt songs.
